Clark is the Founding Senior Pastor of Journey Church with more than 20 years of ministry experience. Journey Church was founded in Norman, Oklahoma in 2001 and built upon Ephesians 3:20—”God can do anything you know, far more than we can ever imagine, guess, or request in our wildest dreams. He does it not by pushing us around but by working within in us his spirit deeply and gently within us.” And what began in 2001 with a gathering of 36 has since grown to a thriving church averaging 4500 in weekly attendance.
Clark is known for his creative teaching style focused on helping people live into their God-given potential and dreams. Journey continues to strive to see cities transformed, one life at a time by equipping all ages to live a life of influence through Biblical leadership, and by helping others break the cycle of poverty in their lives. Most of all, Clark loves speaking into the lives of the thousands of children, youth, and college students who call Journey home.
Clark and his wife Robin have been married for 21 years. They have three children and reside in Norman, Oklahoma.
