Main Street (Birth-PreK)
Main Street is where our children birth-PreK are cared for in a small group environment (offered during the Adult Worship Experiences on Sundays). Key Bible truths are taught through repetition and creativity. We strive to accomplish this teaching through our storytellers, puppet shows, and hands on activities. Main Street provides an atmosphere that is safe and inviting to every child. We want preschoolers to know that:
- God loves them.
- God made them.
- Jesus wants to be their forever friend
Route 2:52 (Elementary Ministry)
Jesus provides a clear example of how a child should “grow up”. Luke 2:52 is a passage that has become a foundation for what we teach in Route 2:52. It is our mission to disciple kids from Kindergarten- 5th grade through small group, large group worship and dramatic storytelling/drama sketches. The 3 basic truths are:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
VBX 2013
VBX 2013 will take place on June 4-6. Details on how to register will be available later this semester.
Overdrive
While parents are in small groups on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, we provide a safe and loving environment for children. During this time, kids will be taught Bible lessons and participate in hands-on activities to reinforce what we are teaching on Sunday mornings. The kids also have plenty of time to play and build relationships with their leaders and friends. For more info please contact Amanda Hill.
Joy Ride
Has your child been asking questions about what it means to have Jesus in their heart? Do they want to be baptized? We offer an amazing program for children in Kindergarten-5th grade called Joy Ride. This class consists of a one hour session that the kids attend with their parent/guardian and they learn what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Following the completion of Joy Ride, we host a Joy Ride Bash for the children who are ready to take their next step in baptism. Parent + Child Dedication
The next Parent + Child Dedication is on May 12, 2013. [Register Online] Twice each year, JourneyKIDS hosts a special ceremony in which parents are invited to give back to God what He has so graciously given you. This is not a baby baptism service, but rather an opportunity for parents to publicly affirm their desire to raise their child in Christ.
