- GIVEGiving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. As believers we are on a mission to point people to Jesus and are called to steward the finances God gives us toward that end. If you are a Christian outside our area and feel led to give above and beyond your primary giving to your local Christian church, we welcome and appreciate your support. If you attend JourneyChurch.tv, then this is simply another avenue to serve in a way God has called us to. One of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our “firstfruits”(2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9). The New Testament Scriptures doesn’t call us to a percentage but a principle. That principle is one of giving cheerfully and sacrificially for the sake of the Gospel. We thank those who help us meet the needs and pray that God would help us to use every gift for the furtherance of The Gospel. God bless you as we serve Him Together in all that He has call us to do. “Since you excel in so many ways–you have so much faith, such gifted speakers, such knowledge, such enthusiasm, and such love for us–now…

Tracy’s Story
My name is Tracy Carlson and I am the Journey Church College Discipleship Pastor. Growing up we occasionally attended church, but never consistently. In elementary school my friend invited me to his house for bible study. I remember learning about Jesus on a felt board and immediately fell in love with him. It was not until I was 13 and …
Alan’s Story
I was raised in a great family by loving parents. I doubt that many, including my own children, experienced such a fulfilling childhood. We did not have much money or many of the things it buys and never took time for vacations. Dad worked long hours and mom was at home. Whatever my parents did or did not do, they …
This Is My Story – Tim Mannin
Here’s what’s been great about my story – it’s been about something greater than me. I became a believer when I was 14 years old. I graduated High School from Western Heights in OKCity. I started serving in a church that deepened my perspective on the church and faith and it caused me to get really involved and eventually started …
Kaleb Kinney – My Story
My name is Kaleb Kinney. I am the Jr. High Pastor here at Journey Church and this is my story. I grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma. I am the youngest of three, and it’s obvious. I grew up wearing hand me downs and craved attention, which I usually got. I enjoyed being in the spotlight and although I was too …
Hollywood Romance
In honor of Valentine’s Day, I present to you a Top Ten list of Romantic Comedies. As a male, I often get ribbed for having a love for romantic comedies, but today is the day that I can let it all fly. You may or may not agree with all of my selections, but know that a lot of time, …
Rock Solid Marriage
Eight years ago, before I joined the staff at Journey, my wife Robin and I were asked, as members, to lead a small group of couples using material from Marriage on the Rock. We had been married 11 years and thought we really had our act together. However, Jimmy Evans presented a biblical perspective about marriage that forever changed and …
Reaching a Generation
At the heart of Journey Church is a passion to reach the next generation. One of the ways we embody this passion can be seen in the ministry of Student Journey. This ministry of Journey exists to reach both JR High and High School students and help to them live a life that follows Jesus. Student Journey connects with hundreds …
Why I Love My Journey Group
Acts 2:42.47 says this: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every …
What Makes Christmas Spectacular
Wow—I am simply blown away by how incredible Christmas Spectacular was this year at Journey Church! From the glow-in-the-dark drumline to the virtual choir to the snow globe to the s’mores bar to the plethora of cookies to the falling snow—every part of it was an event to remember. Kudos to every person who was involved. I know I was …
New Thinking for the New Year
At the start of every New Year many people take an introspective look at their lives and wonder, “what must be fixed.” It’s a natural question because most of us want to improve and grow in life. So, we assess ourselves looking for what is out of whack. At times we determine a new diet or a new habit must …
