- GIVEGiving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. As believers we are on a mission to point people to Jesus and are called to steward the finances God gives us toward that end. If you are a Christian outside our area and feel led to give above and beyond your primary giving to your local Christian church, we welcome and appreciate your support. If you attend JourneyChurch.tv, then this is simply another avenue to serve in a way God has called us to. One of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our “firstfruits”(2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9). The New Testament Scriptures doesn’t call us to a percentage but a principle. That principle is one of giving cheerfully and sacrificially for the sake of the Gospel. We thank those who help us meet the needs and pray that God would help us to use every gift for the furtherance of The Gospel. God bless you as we serve Him Together in all that He has call us to do. “Since you excel in so many ways–you have so much faith, such gifted speakers, such knowledge, such enthusiasm, and such love for us–now…

A Word on Easter
JourneyChurch we have an awesome opportunity to see life change happen this weekend. Easter is one of the best times to invite people to church so they can hear first-hand about the love and mercy of God, and experience His presence. As you know, this is how real life change takes place. In preparation for this weekend, we would like …
The Four Laws of the Marriage on the Rock
One of my favorite teachers on relationships, especially marriages, is Jimmy Evans. In his book “Marriage on the Rock”, Jimmy presents four laws for a successful marriage. This is one of two books Stacy and I studied before we got married (the other was Love and Respect). Stacy and I review these four laws regularly to make sure that we …
Give Thanks!
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. As we enter the Holiday season, too often our lives become even more driven by chaos and stress. Right now you might be partially paying attention to these words and also considering what else needs to …
Sunday Evening Update
Just wanted everyone to know that Pastor Clark was released from the hospital earlier this afternoon. He is resting and glad to be home. Please continue to lift him up in your prayers as he continues to regain his balance and coordination. God is good!
Pastor Clark Update #3
Pastor Clark rested well last night and is being well cared for in the ICU where he will spend at least one more day as planned. He had a follow-up MRI this morning and the reports are good. He would like us to all to continue to pray for the ability to balance when he stands up. God bless you …
Post-Surgery Update #1
Pastor Clark is out of surgery and currently in recovery where he will spend the next few hours. Afterwards, as planned, he will be moved to ICU for the next few days. A positive sign is that he is already responding very well to the doctor’s commands and directions. He is also moving his arms, legs, hands and feet. These …
Pre-Surgery Update
Today we will continue our prayers for Pastor Clark and his family with fervor and confidence. We do so not only because we know that “God can do anything” (Ephesians 3:20) but because he is a loving father who bends down to listen to the prayers of his children (Psalm 116:1-2). Remember today as we pray that our hope is …
How to Care for Pastor Clark & His Family
Pastor Clark and his family are overwhelmed by the support and encouragement they have received over the past few weeks. The words of encouragement, notes, emails and most importantly prayers have been amazing examples of the love and support of the church. There is no question that Pastor Clark and his family feel extremely blessed. The elders and senior executive …
Remember the Night
The birth of a child is something I don’t think you can ever forget. I know I will never forget the birth of my two girls. I remember the days leading up to their birth and the days following them. Even though my girls are only three and 9 months old, I am sure 40 years from now I will …
