Our Father in heaven, hallowed by your name
As our Father dwells in heaven, reigning from above, and we rest under His feet, under His protection. His Son, Jesus Christ, sits at His right; we are conquers and co-heirs with Christ. Christ paid the ultimate price to atone for our sins. Through his sacrifice we are able to join our Father, in our rightful place in heaven.
- Jehovah Rohi means the Lord my Shepherd
- Jehovah Nissi means the Lord my Miracle
Jesus Christ is our Miracle. He is the original conquer. He went before us, fought the battle on our behalf, and therefore we celebrate His victory. As our Shepherd, Christ leads, feeds, and protects us. Because of His protection, through His ultimate victory, we no longer have to fear death. Our earthly bodies are mere temples concealing a living, eternal soul. You are already living an eternal life.
2 Corinthians 5:5, 9
Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body and at home with the Lord.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, today I acknowledge the sacrifice you made, by sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. Father, I confess my sins and my need for your redemption. Thank you for saving me, so that I may experience eternal life. Father, today I declare that you are The Lord, My Shepherd, and My Miracle. I love you, and thank you. Amen.

Meditate on who God is as your Shepherd and your Miracle. How can you daily live your life in thanksgiving for the sacrifice that was made on your behalf?
